Video and Sound

The courses introduce students to digital video production and editing, including storyboarding, directing, shooting and basic lighting.  Students plan and produce short videos and finish their productions using video editing software. The courses examine how video fits into contemporary art, documentary film making and narrative storytelling. Editing techniques are used to both enhance the telling of a narrative storyline and to  subtly manipulate the audience's perception of the projects' emotion and message.
